In treacherous conditions for qualifying at the 2022 Canadian Grand Prix, it was Max Verstappen who kept his head to claim his first pole position of 2022 since Imola – with Alpine’s Fernando Alonso set to join him on the front row after a stunning run from the Spaniard.

Edit title - I didnt really think verstappen braved anything more that the other drivers. In form best car hes ahead by a mile. ALONSO! and Haas woo! I havent watched a canadian GP before but looking forward to the midfield scrap.

Hopefully Norris/Russell can charge up the field as they seem to be good for the overtakes. Vettel Sadface.
