The original System Shock 2, released in 1999, revolutionized storytelling and atmosphere. It won over a dozen awards and was hailed as ‘Game of the Year.’
What game-play wrinkles from the original do you hope they’ve ironed-out?
“Even though it came out pre-9/11, Deux Ex has a skyline without the trade towers; the game’s backstory reveals that they were destroyed by terrorists. Let’s hope the developers weren’t as prescient with the game’s pandemic plot line.” - 2009
Except this is about System Shock 2 and not Deus Ex, Mr. Bot.
I like that you even retained the typo from your irrelevant listicle.
Beep boop I can assure you with 99% accuracy I am Mr. Idiot, your confusion is understandable however
I want them to make the worm gun better. In the original it worked about as well as you would expect firing worms at people would do…
I still haven’t gotten around to playing the system shock 1 remake, been too busy waiting for Rise of the Triad updates
I mostly want them to fix spawning, so I don’t see when enemies spawn.
Otherwise I never had any particular issues with bugs, and don’t expect major gameplay changes since it’s remaster not remake.
