Everyone knows the best way to read long documents is to stare at a shitty business monitor in your chair for 6 hours! There definitely are not companies who spend lots of time making readers for this type of shit because monitors suck for reading text for long periods.
Or it’s definitely easier to host a recipe book for cooking! I just need to set up a server and lug a laptop into my kitchen, mess with the settings to keep the screen on, and I’m ready to cook! So much easier than 3 ring binder!

Why are a giant laptop or a monitor the only options? I read recipes off my phone all the time! No fancy set up required, I just read it while I’m cooking! I still don’t see how any of this is related to your original statement about “touching grass” though
