minus-square@sudo@programming.devlinkfedilink0•2 years agoNot exactly, the Taliban was never a part of the Mujahedin. They don’t show up until after the soviets leave and the US looses interest. They did however grow out Madrassas that were jointly sponsored by the USA and KSA.

Yes, the Taliban were armed and financed by USA.
