I would probably suggest something from the pen of Zdeněk Svěrák. Kolja- this one got Oscar Nejistá sezóna - tragicomedy about theater players. Loads of comedies like Trhák, Jáchyme hoď ho do stroje, Kulový blesk… These are classics https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0006664/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
