Hi

Saturday means Parkrun day in many places

I have no parkruns here :( but they are very much what I did like from races: being social, having fun, enjoy being healthy and sharing good moments with people.

Do you go to ParkRun events?

what’s your opinion about this? thank you

(btw this is the official website: https://www.parkrun.com/

I have a ParkRun in my area, but I’ve never been. Sounds like it would be a fun time.

I have young kiddos, and I’ve always wondered what would be good etiquette if I brought them along. Are strollers discouraged? Would it be rude to let a 5 year old run just part of the course (he probably can’t complete a 5k)?

I’ve seen prams at all of my local events with varying degrees of success. You should check out the course description of your local events, it’ll say something like:

parkrunners pushing buggies are welcome, but please take care of others around you and do your best to start at an appropriate place in the field for your pace.

I’d encourage you to head along, it’s a blast, just be aware and respectful of those around you.
