It depends on which church you visit.

Typically it’s not something you’re going to find in a random gas station, both because it scares off customers and because it’s a great way to get the cops crawling up your ass as a business owner. If you ignore people engaging in sex work on your property then you’re opening yourself to legal issues.

The only places you usually see that kind of thing are places that you’d already think are kind of seedy, like adult movie theaters and truck stops/rest areas.

Anonymous sex in bathrooms has become almost nonexistent in my city since Grinder.

I’m sure there are a few beats left, but nothing like it used to be.

Dogging seems to have picked up, but I assume the married are organising these affairs online.

Very true. I remember seeing a few in the 90s in just normal ass stores, now not even gay bars have glory holes. We used to have culture.

What’s an ass store, and where is the nearest one to me?

Yes. But it’s not like they are a surprise. A community builds up around them, the people involved know when and where to go.

In June 2020, a New York Health Department COVID-19 advisory suggested sex through “physical barriers, like walls”, but did not specifically reference glory holes, as part of broader measures on dating and sex during the pandemic.

          This is so COVID

This was much more interesting than I expected, and somehow managed to lead me to Eveready Harton.

There was a meme around the beginning of COVID, where I live is extremely sex-positive so we literally had government mandated glory holes.

They didn’t want people making too much physical contact so they erected barriers you could bone through, hence the name. Might seem like a joke, but it worked; admittingly probably because nobody wanted to be seen using the government mandated glory holes.
