

That’s good for passwords, but it’s also the syncing of tabs and search history and stuff. When I’m working on my laptop I want to be able to easily find the random journal article I had open on my desktop.
I appreciate the convenience of cloud history is at odds with privacy. But being able to selfhost a syncing server, or to keep a private log on a cloud storage space that only my devices had access to should be possible… But it’s probably not a priority for many folks.
