Nice from one walled garden to the next
very nice. I will give it a try as well (after the holidays though)
I don’t really understand the readme. Is the creation done in a cli or in the jellyfin UI?
I was missing this feature in jellyfin and this would be really great (I switched from plex which has it and I used it a lot 😅)
I created an issue in their repo: https://gitlab.com/relan/fennecbuild/-/issues/80 And the answer is clear: Fennec does not support push notifications because they rip out everything concerning firebase
I am a dev and I do not support telemetry
Its exactly this kind of bullshit that firefox should not* do…
I decided to upgrade, and so far everything is working fine. I had some hiccups after the installation, but a reboot fixed all of them. Thanks for your input :)
Nice though. Sounds like I can do the upgrade 😁
nvidia RTX 2070 super. But that was from 38 to 39. I am not on 40 yet
That doesn’t sound promising, though I am using Gnome, so at least my DE is not getting the biggest upgrade :)
Are you using KDE or Gnome?
I definitely don’t want to deal with that. Last time that happened I had to do a clean install which is just pain imo XD
what does depmod -a
do?
i installes forge (gnome tiling manager) and that had an option for it
Omg you’re right, I am using the Forge extension and that had a setting for it, thank you :)
My Gnome is in German and I do not know which point is meant by “Desktop”:
they did? totally slipped past me…
I fullheartedly agree… My mbin servers have been targeted multiple times by stupid AI scraper bots and even google didn’t adhere to the request limit set in the robots.txt…
