If not Florida they’ll send them to Texas, Governor Abbott is fine with pardoning murderers convicted by a jury of their peers for political gain, I’m sure he’d invite a couple sex traffickers/SAers to his state if it meant points with President Musk.

Ah hell, that’s how I first read it then I second guessed myself on the irony later!
It’s May 2024 data from 2022 respondents, biased towards people willing to respond to pretty long consumer surveys. I have similar suspicions you’d see a higher % from a larger sample size or reporting from video game platform and store owners who can differentiate that better than your average consumer.
Whether there is another cause that is common to both events is irrelevant to the example. The example is to demonstrate the fact that while A and B are correlated, neither A causes B nor B causes A are true predicates. Just like the discovery of Pluto and autism diagnosis are correlated to start around the same year, there’s no evidence of the casual link where discovering Pluto causes autism diagnosis or autism diagnosis causes Pluto discovery.

Something doesn’t have to exist forever to have meaning, that seems like a holdover from utopic afterlife religious indoctrination.
We can enjoy a movie or a lunch knowing it will end, I can pursue meaning and find multiple purposes throughout a lifetime.
Signatures as a form of authorization I think held up the facsimile tech way past it’s best by date
Yes, the survey summary below shows no exceptions for physical hardware vs emulation in the question
No, the opposite; it’s a classic example showing that correlation doesn’t necessitate causation. I was just playing with the phrasing to imply the humorous inverse that there is a casual link.

I think it’s a little more complicated than that, and I suspect a majority of Russians supported the war for the first few months, but currently support Putin and not all of his actions, including the war. The list experiment uses data from 3 years ago.
It’s difficult to get accurate information from a country during a war, and when a country is willing to arrest protestors or disappear journalists who present a dissenting view of the country’s leadership or wars it’s worth taking the information we do get with suspicion.
The tricky part is justifying that without a source due to the state of journalism in Russia
“protected after Trump’s term”
So executive orders are useless for this, and what concessions are Republicans willing to make to get a Senate super majority to pass an amendment, which hasn’t happened in most of our lifetimes?
Congratulations on appeasing middle managers, the laziest people taking the most and doing the least are at the top of the hierarchy, not the bottom.
Nobody ever told me there’d be unintended consequences to my actions /s
Is common sense just an earlier, naive label for confirmation bias?

Crush for PSP, it’s a puzzle game where you switch between 2d and 3d. The style is cartoony, the music is amazing, and the puzzles are generally engaging without being too difficult. It’s really a shame it only came out for PSP and a slightly different version on 3ds.
‘Please don’t make this political’ should read as ‘I know my politics caused this to happen, please don’t show me i helped do this to myself’
Imagine if this were happening under a Democrat admin, would this person even consider not making it political?
Before the current administration government workers were one of the most secure positions under the largest employer in the country. People would take a pay cut to avoid the more volatile private industries for the security and benefits of a government job. Now our allies abroad and internal workers no longer can trust in those securities.
